Salary sacrifice remains supported in the October 2024 budget

With the government’s commitment to support the take-up of electric vehicles (“EVs”) by maintaining competitively low BiK tax rates from 2028 to 2030, the Chancellor has provided the clarity and certainty required by company car and salary sacrifice providers.

Our retail-focused, online salary sacrifice platform already offers an array of features to support the user experience, promote our clients’ brand and enhance scheme uptake, including:

  1. Promotion of stock and special offers to ensure the best deals are presented to users at multiple points throughout their salary sacrifice search

  2. A unique comparator, incorporating a search by net salary sacrifice option alongside a range of other filters to help users quickly and easily discover their ideal car

  3. Integrated motor insurance quotations with the latest premiums applied in real-time, together with early termination insurance (“ETI”) or protection options

  4. A range of other customer set-up options catering for VAT recovery, sharing employer NIC savings, commission, and contingency planning

We’ve also recently added a customer-specific rate book option, allowing cars to be personally insured cars and dual branding so our clients can work in tandem with their key partners.

And, with the long-term certainty offered by the government’s ongoing incentivisation of EVs, over the coming months, we’ll be developing new features, including:

  • Home chargers

  • Used EVs

  • Enhanced promotion of stock and special offers

  • A micro comparator within the model selection filter

  • An enhanced analytics dashboard

  • An enhanced checkout process incorporating indicative pdf illustrations.
